Rent a boat from the hotel’s watersports centre and sail the short trip to the blue lagoon. Drop anchor and swim in the dazzlingly clear water. I particularly adore Anassa in the autumn. The Mediterranean Sea is warm and inviting, the temperature is perfect, and the colours in the afternoon are enchanting.”

RELAXED ELEGANCE
Anassa epitomises relaxed luxury and classic, tasteful architecture with whitewashed walls, set in beautiful, lush surroundings scented with lavender and pink geraniums – reminiscent of a Byzantine village. And then there’s the option of complete privacy. The area around Anassa is picturesque, rich with wild herbs and flowers along roads and paths, and tempts visitors for a leisurely walk along the coast or up on the Akamas Peninsula.

The rooms are large and spacious, designed in a simple Mediterranean style – all with balconies or terraces, and most of them offer the most stunning panoramic view over the Mediterranean Sea. Many of the suites have their own pool and jacuzzi, and a charming terrace with an ocean view. In total, there are 166 rooms, suites, and residences, but with its thoughtful design, Anassa never feels too large. Understated luxury, fantastic facilities for families, and striking surroundings.

Children of all ages will have a wonderful time at Anassa. There’s a Kids’ Club for ages four months up to 16 years, a fun playroom, and naturally a multitude of beach and water activities. Teenagers can be challenged with scuba diving and jet skiing, or with tennis and table tennis.

Anassa boasts a wide and excellent selection of restaurants. Amphora is the main restaurant, serving a delightful morning buffet, with every delicacy your heart could desire. The evening menu varies daily with exquisitely prepared, fresh dishes from the Mediterranean kitchen. In Pelagos, you can enjoy a tasty, relaxed dinner by the pool – and if you wish to explore Anassa’s cuisine further, the fine-dining restaurant Basiliko offers gourmet experiences beneath the tall, vaulted ceilings.
